Poaching has become rampant in Kenya thanks to the thriving market for Ivory in Asia where Ivory costs an estimated 2000 dollars (172,000 Kshs) per Kilogram.
In 2011, 25,000 elephants were killed for ivory and in 2014 we still see a lot of elephants brutally butchered to sustain the growing demand for Ivory.rhinos have not been left behind with the one below being brutally murdered for its tusks.
