Former Top NTV Anchor Makes His Way Back After Leaving
After losing most of its top anchors to rival stations, NTV appears keen to sustain its viewership. After luring back Larry Madowo in December last year, the NMG management has once again succeeded in enticing one of its former top anchors back to the station.
Yesterday, Mark Masai made his way back to the “twin towers” after leaving NTV in September 2011 to join China’s CCTV. The “prodigal son” was received back cordially by former colleagues at NTV who expressed their happiness for the reunion;
@SmritiVidyarthi: Welcome back to the #NTV newsroom my dear @MarkMasai – missed you!
@Ben_Kitilli : @MarkMasai Welcome back to the team bro..great to have u back #DreamTeam taking shape..
Masai holds a degree in Social Communication from Catholic University and began his career at NTV at 22 years. Even as he left CCTV, Masai thanked his former employer for the break he had while with them. “Thank you, @CCTVAfrica for your blessings in this new path. God-speed”, tweeted Masai.
Ghafla! wishes Mark Masai all the best as he takes up his new role.
