Free Eric Wainaina Show

Roots International presents Eric Wainaina on this week’s Thursday Nite Live at Choices Pub & Restaurant. The event takes place between 8:00 and 11:00 p.m. and entrance is free.

The Berklee-educated afro-fusion artiste has released three albums: Sawa Sawa, Twende Twende and Love + Protest. Before that, he was in the 5 Alive gospel music group. It was one of the most popular groups of the ’90s and had Victor Seii, Chris Kamau, Bob Kioko and Joe Kiragu (and earlier David Mageria) as its other members. He has also dabbled in theatre by writing and starring in the hit musical, Mo Faya!

The weekly event has previously hosted Yunasi, Sauti Sol, Dela & Mishel, Chizi, Stan, Dempsey, Barbara Guantai, Wendy Kimani, Iddi Achieng’ among others.
