From Busia With Ambition Check Out This Underground Artist ‘Mchina Mweusi’

The city is always overflowing with new artists trying out their grind and hoping for that breakthrough that always appears elusive. However, it is much harder for artists in the other counties to get production leave alone exposure.

So it is always a good surprise to get someone from that far with not just a perfect effort but matching end result. This is the case of Elijah Masinde aka ‘Ching’a Ling’a’ aka ‘Mchina Mweusi’.

With the recent disappointment as regards the originality of our leading hip hope lights, this underground artist from Busia is a fresh and welcome voice. I am not touting him as the next savior, I am vouching for that he is worth listening too and has great promise. He raps in Pure Kiswahili with a fast flow and in his single ‘Ukweli’ he shows a grasp and consciousness of a range of issues.
