Before he joined the mainstream and became a straight up radio DJ,DJ Kalonje had taken over the matatu routes with his mixes.

But he left the matatu scene in capable hands, in the hands of DJ Demakufu real name Martin Owaka. If you have heard the Bongo mix tape, Demakufu 254 and Demakufu one drop matatu mixes I am sure that you have wanted to see the face behind those awesome mixes.

Together withe DJ Knitspin who specializes in Old Skool Music , the two have formed a Djing unit called 2 star Deejays and a branding company.
