The Mwafaka awards are coming in the next few weeks, and one of their unique categories is the ‘Role Model of the Year.’

 The nominees are:

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko: he has been a pillar in holding together the youths of Nairobi helping out the needy and the young 

Rev. Cathy Kiuna: she has a soft spot for young women she has a programmer called daughter of zion which has alot of followers 

David Rudisha: he is on of Kenyans greatest sports persons. He has alot of followers and young people who look up-to him with his young age of 24 

Pastor Andrew Young: he is the leader of maximum melodies also being the son of puis muiru he has alot of youths in the church and outside that follow him he does his monthly Gith concerts that are always packed to capacity 

Bob Collymore, CEO Safaricom: he has an appeal to the young entrepreneur  in the country being very funky and he is easy to go to his love for gospel music is seen and also being able to tag with people like juliani daddy owen and the likes

Victor Wanyama: he has made kenya proud by being one of the best footballers to come from here his humble background makes him stand out. all young footballers want to be like him they want to live his dream thats why he is in the category of role model of the year
