Gichboy Loses Dad

Acclaimed DJ and producer Gichboy lost his dad on Saturday morning. Gichboy’s dad was a cabinet minister and Githunguri MP Arthur Magugu.

DJ Gichboy who is famed for holding the most exotic summer gig Sexxy Saturday, was one of Kenya’s fastest rising DJs who have had and has continued having control over the crowd in the way they make everybody enjoy themselves.

Gichboy’s father was among the longest serving MPs for Githunguri Constitutuency as well as the first generation of Kenyans who received university education in the 1950s, making them natural choices for prominent roles in politics, civil service and the private sector.

The Late Magugu served as a Minister, Assistant Minister, MP and a fierce KANU stalwart. Gichboy has in the past worked with the likes of Abbas and Chiwawa.
