Gloria Muliro, Fidel Odinga and Jacque Maribe Named As Some of the Top 10 Most Popular Personalities in Kenya

Every year, Google discloses the top trends of the year through an examination of the search queries received, and this year was no exception.

They recently announced their top searches for the year 2015 and here are the top ten personalities Kenyans have searched for:

1. Fidel Odinga- Raila Odinga’s son who passed away this year

2. Gloria Muliro- Probably because of the cheating scandal where she accused her husband Pastor Omba of infidelity.

3. Paul Kobia- Controversial businessman who once sensationally claimed he had killed Fidel Odinga among other controversies.

4. George Muchai-The Kabete MP who was shot and killed by gunmen on Kenyatta Avenue alongside his bodyguards in February this year.

5.Nana Gichuru- A popular actress who passed away in a highly-publicized gruesome road accident.

6. Auma Obama-Obama’s sister who became very popular during his visit earlier this year, she even got to ride in ‘The Beast’ alongside the U.S president.

7.Murimi wa Kahalf- A popular Kikuyu Musician who passed away under unclear circumstances earlier this year

8.Mugo wa Wairimu- A ‘doctor’ and Facebook personality who was accused of drugging and raping his patients.

9.Jackie Marimbe- They probably meant Citizen Tv’s Jacque Maribe

10.Pastor Nganga- Due to the 2 hit and run incidents he has been involved in this year
