Women nowadays such as Elani’s Wambui Ngugi are slowly embracing gorgeous African hair while others such as Lupita Nyong’o have cut their hair off and embraced an authentic African look.

The latest one to embrace the no-weaves movement is Julia Kanyomozi. Julia was known for her array of weaves shared a more natural look on Instagram with a selfie showing off her gorgeous hair.
