Gospel Artiste Stoned Along Langata Road By Construction Workers

Construction workers building the Southern by-pass along Lang’ata road went on rampage yesterday and stoned motorists, protesting lack of pay and mistreatment from their employers.

Among those caught in the fracas was gospel artiste who also adds up as an actor and founder of the Theatrix Arts Ensemble, David Allliwah.

Alliwah said that he was caught up in the fracas and met the wrath of the workers who stoned his car, but luckily escaped unhurt from the attack.

The actor regretted that people could on to destroy other people’s property when protesting for their rights.

“What a chaotic scene on Langata road near the Southern Bypass.Road construction workers on strike and they just stoned me…but I’m safe.”

Alliwah is known by many for his contributions in bringing to perspective and expounding on the set books used in high schools across Kenya through his Theatrix Arts Ensemble.

He has collaborated before with gospel singers like Mary Atieno Ominde and he is also the founder of Tukuza Milele Entertainment and ALLICAL wear.
