Gospel Artistes To Celebrate The Life Of Their Late Renowned Producer In A Concert
Renowned producer John Nyika’s brilliant career was cut short late last year after succumbing to what many described as a heart attack.
The producer is renowned for being behind the success of celebrated gospel artists in Kenya, among them veteran singers Emmy Kosgey and Esther Wahome.
Nyika particularly helped produce Emmy Kosgey’s famous hits like Taunet Nelel and Ategsin and many other artistes’ songs that have profiled them in the world of entertainment.
This is why a number of the gospel artistes who worked with Nyika have teamed up to hold a free concert that will help raise funds aimed at helping the late producer’s wife and children who entirely depended on him for a living.
The artists to grace the concert include Emmy Kosgey, Esther Wahome, Paul Mwai, Eunice Njeri, Sarah K, and Ben Githae among many others.
The concert will be held at the NPC Valley Road Church on Sunday 11th this month.
