Halle Berry Showers Praises On Lupita Nyong’o

12 years ago, Halle Berry became the first African-American actress to win Best Actress, and 12 years later Lupita won the Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years A slave.

So brilliant was Lupita at portraying Patsey that an online petition was started for her to replace Halle Berry in “X-Men” films by Marvel. So How does Halle Feel about Lupita after the online petition to replace her? When queried about Lupita’s Oscar win she said that “It makes me really happy when I see people like Lupita be given an opportunity to shine … and to feel like I was somehow apart of that years ago just makes me feel proud.”
