Here’s An Update On The Goldie Story

On Friday some devastating news broke out of Nigeria: Goldie was dead. It later became clear that she had died of a pulmonary embolism on her way to Reddington Hospital.

And from then, we’ve have been met with allegations and counter allegations of Goldie’s personal life. Prezzo broke his silence in poetic fashion by writing a piece to his muse. The poem is actually a very beautiful piece. This prompted, a man by the name Andrew Harvey to lay claim to Goldie by saying he was her husband. The man had crawled from under the woodwork and he told Prezzo off for not giving Goldie’s family time and privacy to mourn.

And when his claims of being the deceased’s husband were questioned, he produced photographic evidence. And they say photos are worth a thousand words. He cast out every doubt even i had.

And just when we thought this tale couldn’t get more bizarre and humiliating, a lady by the name Ifeoma came out with more scandalous and damaging allegations. She claimed that Goldie used to be her bestfriend a lifetime ago but she (Goldie) stabbed her in the back by stealing her husband. She took to Facebook and toasted the news of Goldie’s death alluding to it being Karma.

I was touched to see that Kenyan celebrities took the time out of their schedules to issue messages of condolence to Goldie’s family and messages of encouragement to Prezzo as he trudges through his grief.

That was on Saturday. Today, and since Friday actually, Goldie’s family have busied themselves with funeral arrangements. We at Ghafla want to issue out heartfelt condolences to her family. May her soul rest in the bosom of God Almighty.
