Humiliating Fall From Grace: Top Dancehall Artist Accused Of Theft And Violence!

We all remember the exclusive story Ghafla carried about former Ulopa Ngoma underling Shavey,
one half of the duo that gave us the track “Gyal” right? You know the one! Yes, I’m referring
to the story about how the lad is now a “makanga” who can only work as a “Squadi” guy aye?

 Well, he’s back in troubled waters. The lad was arrested yesterday for robbery with violence. this is what unfolded:

Shavey has been down on his luck and just when it seemed like things were looking up for him, they got worse… Alot worse! Shavey was recently arrested in Kayole by the Kayole area chief in conjunction with the area residents apprehended Shavey after he was caught red handed breaking into a butchery to steal meat eat and money.

The former Dancehall superstar who fell from grace in a rather spectacular fashion was caught when the butcher heard the commotion and when he inspected, he found the artist breaking his windows to gain access to the meat.
When the alarm was raised, area residents descended on Shavey with kicks and blows but one of the area residents recognized the celeb (perhaps from the Ghafla article) and took him to the chief.

The butcher then explained that he doesn’t want any charged preferred against Shavey, he just want 1,500/- for the damages to his premises and the meat but Shavey only had 100/- on his person.
