I Was Not The Prettiest Girl:Brenda Wairimu

When you think ‘beautiful Kenyan’ actress Brenda Wairimu is more often than not  among the first images that pop-up in your head.

From humble beginnings at Changing times,Brenda has come a long way since then and has a to-die-for role in East Africa’s first soap opera Mali alongside the soft spoken Daniel Peter and the Sassy Mkamzee Mwatela.She plays the cute but entitled Lulu Mali a dance like a butterfly sting like a bee kind of role which she pulls off perfectly.

B as she is known as her fans has not always been the stunning swan we know now,she confesses that she was once an ugly duckling.This is what she had to say about life in her teens”I was not the prettiest girl,not even in the top 5!Never got any letters from our brother school*sad face*,this left me with alot of time to study,that is why i did very well in high school.Although even with that I still was not sure what i wanted to be,who i really was or even where I saw myself in future.I made wonderful friends in my teenage life though.”
