Standup comedy is probably one of the hardest jobs around, standing under the glare of publicity expected to crack a joke that will send your audience into fits of laughter cannot be easy.

It gets especially hard when you crack a joke and your audience responds with awkward polite laughter or worse blank looks and deafening silence.But if you master this art, it can be one of the most lucrative jobs around. In Kenya the standup comedy scene   isn’t too shabby with the likes of Eric Omondi and Teacher Wanjiku acquiring some money-spinning deals .Other comedians who stand out are the ones on Churchill Show such as Chipukeezy, Mtumishi and Mchungaji and Owago Onyiro.
