If You Haven’t Watched Viva Riva! Yet, Star Flix Has a Treat For You

If you still haven’t caught Viva Riva!, the Congolese blockbuster that took the world by storm, then Star Flix Cinema at Mega City City (Kisumu) has you covered.

The film will show on Screen 2 between Friday and Sunday at 11:45 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The film tells the story of a wild and uninhibited young man who falls in love with the wife of a crime lord but, nonetheless, pursues her. Meanwhile, he is also being pursued by an Angolan mob boss from who he stole a boatful of oil right in the middle of a petroleum drought.

The two situations overlap to create a volatile and explosive situation that saw the director receive worldwide accolade for the film’s graphic portrayal of the Kinshasa undergound: drugs, sex and crime.

Showing on Screen 1 will be Indian action flick, Rowdy Rathore. On Friday, it shows at 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Between Saturday and Sunday, showtimes are at 11:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
