In Case You Missed It: American Dj Xpect Rocks Kenya

New York based DJ Xpect has been in Kenya where he rocked the Smirnoff New Year’s party at Crayfish, Nairobi.

Happy to be back to his roots in Africa, Xpect explored music from both the African and American continent giving revelers what they wanted. He was delighted to be on the same stage with many other top Kenyan DJs such as DJ Nijo, DJ Stretch, DJ Hassan, DJ Creepa and Kenyan based Jamaican DJ G Money.
DJ Xpect was born in Oregon, USA and right now is part of the biggest buzz in New York City….the live DJ + workout session with Mark Jenkins, celebrity trainer for now Dj Khaled, Rick Ross, Beyonce and Diddy. Check his site: www.djxpect.com
He will be dropping a couple of singles in Kenya. He is one of first ( if not first ) African DJs to spin a hiphop mix-show on US radio,  he is also only African DJ to have graced tables live for a hip-hop legend : KRS One. He’s worked on several tracks that have been submitted to big acts but still in process as lots of red tape to clear. He’s working to release two EP projects in 2014. An Electronic Dance Music EP called Soho Grey as well as a future RnB/TrapNB EP under the Moniker “Broadway Pete”. I will also be shooting videos for some of the singles during my Kenya tour in December to January.
