Is Being One Of Kenya’s Most Hated Women Such A Bad Thing?
We live in a world where people really want to be liked and to fit in. However, I believe you can achieve unfathomable greatness if you let go off your fear of being hated or not fitting in.
I don’t know about you but fitting in and being liked in is overrated…unless these translates into cash in the bank. 😉
However sticking out like a sore thumb and being unapologetically you will really drive up a butt load of people up the wall.
I went through the list on women who are apparently the most hated women in Kenya and I could not help but guffaw loudly! This is because this list is a list of women who are not losers; they are women who have broken the glass ceiling. The iron ladies. Those who are not shy from declaring their opinion even if it will piss a load of people off.The ones that have broken the ‘women are to be seen not heard’ rule.
Look at these impressive jobs that these ‘hated’ women have:
1. Fatou Bensouda – ICC Prosecutor
2. Angela Ambitho – Infotrack Harris Founder
3. Martha Karua – Narc Kenya Chairperson
4. Gladwell Otieno – Founder AFRIGOG
5. Caroline Mutoko- Kiss 100, Radio Presenter.
6. Njoki Chege – Daily Nation columnist.
7. Atsango Chesoni – KNHCR commissioner
8. Millie Odhiambo – Mbita MP.
9. Maria Mabinti Kamara – ICC Outreach Cordinator Kenya.
10. Ciku Muiruri – former Radio presenter.
I don’t know about you ladies, but I would rather be hated than mediocre.
