Alex Apoko commonly referred to as Ringtone is an award-winning gospel singer who once tried his hands hand in politics. He was even contesting for the Kitutu Masaba seat a while back.

But life has not always been rosy for Ringtone this is because Ringtone was once a street kid.
An aspiring singer and street urchin has come out claiming that it is possible that he and Ringtone have blood ties.

The singer named Peter says that he is often told that he looks like Ringtone.

Truth is, I have been searching for Ringtone with all I have so that I can know whether I am related to him or not I am tired of being lonely in the streets and I think the time has come to search for my siblings)” Kayroz told Pwani Msanii.

I came across photos of Kayroz and I have to admit he does bear an uncanny resemblance to the ‘Talanta’ singer.
