My colleague Jeff Omondi put up an article about Jaguar’s new car and the internets went wild. But I went mad for another reason altogether. I am a watch connoisseur or rather a budding watch enthusiast. And I have an uncle with an impressive collection from whom i have learned alot from.

I am serious. When everyone was noticing the bundle of money and the Range Rover interior, I was looking at the watch band. And my uncle taught me well because I could name the watch by simply looking at the band…

And that ladies and gents is a Rolex strap. And to be specific, it’s a Day-Date President Yellow Gold – Fluted Bezel Rolex. The same type worn by Nigerian superstar Davido.

And that beauty costs 30,000 USD! Yeah. Ladies, here’s a hint, want to know a man is wealthy? stop looking for tokens, trinkets and toys like ipads, phones and cars. look at the watch.
