From the snow white face make up and bright  crimson lips of the Geisha’s,  to the beautiful white dots in Africa, to ceruse, a mixture of white lead and vinegar in the Elizabethan times, make up has been part and parcel of women’s lives for ages.

 And although make-up has advanced with manufactures getting rid of lead in the products, make up is still as much popular as it was back in the day. Just take a walk in town and you will bump into about 3 make up shops in the same periphery. A lot of Kenyans use make-up nowadays judging from the increasing number made-up faces on the streets and media girls are no different.
