Jimmy Gait reveals how he lured Bob Collymore into the ‘furi furi’ remix
Do not sit back and act like you were not the least bit surprised about how Jimmy Gait managed to get the CEO of Safaricom to sing in his ‘Furi Furi Dance’ remix song. Julie Gichuru and Jeff Koinange… that is imaginably possible. We just had to get the story behind it.
Apparently, Julie Gichuru was actually excited to hear that she can actually feature in the hit track, considering that she sings too. She does. For real!
Jeff Koinange on the other hand is a very good pal of Jimmy Gait’s, and obviously took very little convincing on his part, plus, come on… you know how much our beloved Jeff loves the camera. Right?
The real task was getting Bob Collymore on board. This is the point where Jimmy’s cunning and quite funny nature is exposed. You should also know that Jeff Koinange played a part in this scheme that resulted to the most interesting yet disturbing (in the most polite way possible) music video.
