John Allan Namu,Ben Kitili And James Smart Open Up About Weaves (VIDEO)

Hair weaves have been a prickly subject in Kenya since women started rocking them in hordes. Men definitely have A LOT to say about weaves with 99.999% of them disapproving of the synthetic hair.

KTN’s Sophie Wanuna got KTN’s Finest Ben Kitili, John Allan Namu and James Smart to air their opinion about weaves. Like I said weaves are a tricky subject and the men were careful not to offend their adoring female fans and the show’s host who was also rocking  a weave.

Allan Namu’s opinion on weaves was that he finds weaves fake, a façade, but still respects women in weaves because the weaves make women look good. James on the other hand said talking about weaves is a ‘walking on eggshells kind of situation’ but said he does not like weaves due to the fact that weaves make everyone look uniform, not unique as anyone can buy a weave and look like the other person adding that sometimes ladies still manage to work with the weaves, give them a personal touch.

Kitili was a bit lenient with the ‘shawtys’ in weaves and even complimented Sophie’s. You can check out the rest of the interview here
