Kagwe Mungai Reveals What Inspired Him To Produce Sauti Sol’s Banned Nishike Video
Sauti Sol produced one of the most controversial videos in Kenyan history which got banned outright because of the explicitness it exhibited.
The man behind that very explicit video was none other than producer and singer Kagwe Mungai.
Speaking exclusively to Ghafla Kenya, Kagwe has revealed what inspired him to produce the video.
He says that while he was in the United Kingdom studying, he learnt a lot of things that were not being done back home.
He was therefore inspired to produce slow jams for Kenyan clubs because he realised such things never existed in the country.
He therefore went for Nishike, which is a slow jam fit for partying in Kenya.
