Kenyan Film going global

Kenyan film makers are getting and more experienced by the day. They are receiving recognition through out the world and thus putting Kenya out there more than we already are.

The documentary ‘Papa Shilingi’ which is about the biggest fish in the ocean (whale) was awarded the prestigious Golden Sea Star at Germany’s Underwater film festival.

Volker Bassen produced the film and shot it at the Diani Beach. The film was aimed in promoting tourism in Kenya, and by the looks of it, they’ve done a good job.
