Kenyan Rapper Takes On Jay-Z Track
“BORN TO SUCCEED, BRED FOR GREATNESS, INSPIRED TO ACHIEVE“
That is how Big David describes himself. He is an upcoming rapper who loves challenges. He always takes on the big hip hop tracks in all of the material he has produced. Most of the music he has done so far has been covers of rappers’ tracks.
He started recording his music last year and the first tracks he did were You Be Killin’ ‘Em by Fabulous and Racks by YC. “I got good reviews on Soundcloud with over 100 plays for those two tracks and currently for Otis and D.O.A. The numbers are rising,” the rapper says about the reception he got after putting the tracks online.
The latest beat he has used is Jay-Z’s instrumental from Death of Autotune. The beat was made by No I.D. and the track includes a sample of Janko Nilovic’s In The Space, inspiration from Steam’s Na Na Hey Kiss Him Goodbye and uses some lines from Kanye West’s Big Brother.
