Kenyans on annimated comedy.
The Kenyan animation film industry is growing better and faster by the day. Even musicians like Jua Kali and Just a Band are fond of using them in their videos.
Alot of movies and documentaries have been produced in Kenya through animation, and are quite interesting.
One of the best animation films in Kenya by Kenyans that I have seen is the
‘Legend of Ngong Hills’. This is a short Maasai folk tale, based on an ogre who likes attacking a Maasai Village, eat their cattle and destroy their property. The ugly orge soon falls in love with a beautiful Maasai maiden, Sanaiyan. It is funny and like I said before, very interesting film. It is available on DVD in leading retails across Kenya.
I also saw another rather political based funny annimation film on YouTube, that replicates our politicians in the Transformers’ mode. Hahaha… I’ll not say much about this. You just have to watch it for yourself. Great stuff!
