Kenyans On Twitter React To Crude And Callous Politician!
Judy Kosgei of Citizen TV last week brought to light the harrowing experiences of girls in Marigat, Baringo county during that time of the month.
We watched in shock as girls talked about not only missing school but also using goat skin, chicken feathers, soil and even leaves during their menses as have no access to sanitary towels that many take for granted .This revelation was so shocking that Kenyans on Twitter took a break from their busy lives to discuss the issue on hash-tag periods of shame.
Well, one nominated County Assembly Member Cynthia Kiptui really had it rough for callously suggesting that the girls should use their clothes and mattresses as sanitary towels.Here are some of the reactions
