Kenyans React To The Death Of “Wanja Kavengi”
Shame on me! I had even put her up last year as the much coveted “Ghafla Girl”-much to my shock and the chagrin of my peers. she has never existed. We imagined her, the girl that gave me that number that I held dear as Wanja’s was probably an inmate at the kamiti prisons who had a knack for good writing!
Yesterday, it was disheartening to read Heartbreaking: Popular Social Media Queen Passes On. But I was not the only one who was shocked! the “interwebs”-like Wanja (who never was) loved to call the internet was literally taken aback!
