It has been nine months since Khaligraph dropped ‘Embesha’, the song that got the whole country singing.
The song’s title partly contributed to it going viral. Kenyans substituted Safaricom’s M-Pesa to use Khaligraph’s ‘Embesha’ when referring to mobile money transactions.
‘Ntakuembesha’ was a common term used by Kenyans.
Now Khaligraph is reaping monetary benefits of his song. The rapper was given a voucher worth Kes 30,000 by Klad House.
