Kayole’s finest, Kaligraph, is reaping big from his 2014 hit ‘Embesha’. He revealed the amount he racked in from the song.

It has been nine months since Khaligraph dropped ‘Embesha’, the song that got the whole country singing.

The song’s title partly contributed to it going viral. Kenyans substituted Safaricom’s M-Pesa to use Khaligraph’s ‘Embesha’ when referring to mobile money transactions.

‘Ntakuembesha’ was a common term used by Kenyans.

Now Khaligraph is reaping monetary benefits of his song. The rapper was given a voucher worth Kes 30,000 by Klad House.
