Kidero Vows To Suffocate Nairobi’s 1824 Whiskey Bar And Lounge
The war on illegal liquor dens is taking a whole different approach to start targeting legal and popular entertainment hotspots.
Nairobi Governor, Dr. Evans Kidera, is flexing his muscles and sadly it’s 1824 Whiskey Bar and Lounge that is the first victim of Kidera’s wrath.
1824 is a popular joints for Nairobi’s guzzlers which is located along Langata Road, opposite the Carnivore junction.
The entertainment joint fell on Kidero’s radar after flouting rules and regulations governing the operation hours of liquor stores and bars.
Kidero says 1842 has been operating beyond the required legal hours and as such the owner(s) ought to be arrested and prosecuted.
“They will be arrested and prosecuted because even if it’s legal but doing it outside the legal hours make it illegal.” Vexed Kidero uttered.
The Nairobi sheriff further added revelers turning up at 1824 for a drink or two have a tendency of blocking the road.
