Lady Jay Dee To Release Her Ogopa-Produced Video Tomorrow!

This is great  news for Lady Jay Dee’s  fans.The Bongo singer announced on Facebook that she is releasing the video for the hit song  ‘Yahaya’ on You Tube  tomorrow.

The video has been produced by Kenya’s celebrated music producers Ogopa Deejays.The video’s lead character ‘Yahaya’ is to be played  by Bongo Star ‘Dude’.

Lady Jay Dee just like most superstars  started singing in church at the age of 7 .She later  joined the  Afro Reign group in mid 90’s  before going solo in 2001.Her first solo album “Machozi” bagged her the accolade ‘Tanzanian Best Female Artist in 2001’. Things just kind of fell into place from then,winning  multiple awards in and out of Tanzania including  the Channel O Video Music Award for Best East African in  2003,for her video “Machozi” .

The ‘Siku Hazigandi’ singer describes her music as a blend of rich, soulful African vocals with arrangements and instrumentation that blends both African traditional and modern influences.
