Larry Madowo Finally Takes Biko Zulu to the United Kingdom

The compassionate Larry was really touched by Biko’s article “Visa Denied” and he ultimately decided to act on Biko’s plea by giving him what he was crying out loud for.

How well will you acknowledge the power of the social media other than just looking at how Biko Zulu’s tag on twitter went viral and his plea got the attention from the highest quarter of which Biko could not achieve on a face to face basis? Well Biko’s appeal was answered by the British High Commissioner to Kenya Dr. Christian Turner when he personally twitted the latter; Biko further got a bigger boost When Larry also took him to the UK.

Hold there for a minute, not quite literally; I mean Larry did not actually take Biko to the UK. “I have always wanted to see the River Thames. It’s the only thing I have ever really wanted to see in England. I am not interested in seeing the Old Trafford. Or Soho. Or China Town (what with the thousands of Chinese coming to build our railways, we will anyways soon be sending SMSs in Mandarin). Or the London Eye. I don’t even want to see the Tower of London, which just looks anaemic,” wrote Biko on his article. Now you clearly see how Biko was obsessed with seeing the River Themes in the UK. This is interesting because this is where Larry quickly rushed in to save the situation before it could run out of hand.

Probably we all now know that Larry is on a trip to continental Europe; he has not been in the country for two weeks now. So Larry decided to be innovative enough and sent Biko a magnificent photo of the beautiful River Thames; Larry did not see the need of Biko hustling trying all the means to go to the UK yet the UK High Commission to Kenya had refused to process his visa, so Larry decided to take Biko to the UK through a photo. They say that a single photo speaks a thousand words; Biko Zulu may just be to the UK through the photo Larry sent him.
