Larry Madowo Lashes Out At Davido Following His ‘Diva-ish’Appearance on The Trend. Bans Him From The Show

Larry Madowo recently hosted Davido on the Trend but instead of a good show where we got to know our musician, we were treated to a petulant kid who clearly needed a good spanking.

Davido might have answered Larry Madowo’s questions but his body language proved that he would rather be somewhere else making Larry look like an over-excited groupie instead of a host.

Larry Madowo had clearly met his match and I couldn’t help but rub my hands in glee and have a hearty chuckle. He had it coming; after all, he is not one of the most pleasant TV personalities in the 254 and has often been described as stand-offish!

That aside, I like to give credit where its due and I commend Larry for keeping it together despite his interview getting out of hand and being controlled by a kid with little jeans and a humongous ego.

Anyhow, Davido’s demeanor on the trend has left a bad taste in Larry’s mouth and he penned this article in the Daily Nation that described his experience with Davido.

“I greeted him and introduced myself as he walked to the green room. He didn’t make eye contact.
I was not surprised. I first met Davido in Mauritius last year, when he and half a dozen other stars launched the song, “Africa Rising”.
