Listen To Man Njoro’s Latest Song Iruga Featuring The Gorgeous Kawira.
Remember Uko Sure, the tongue-in-cheek song that became an unstoppable club banger? It was done by Nemesis’ alter-ego Man-njoro and Rabbit.

Well he just churned a sure hit, spanking new! I was just scrolling through my Facebook, which I hardly get to do when I’m at work. This stopped me in my tracks. Titled Iruga, it features the gorgeous and super talented vocalist Kawira. Kawira by the way is the songstress who did the refrain in Nonini’s Pole Pole. Scroll to the bottom of this page to hear the song.

I ‘cornered him on Facebook and this is what he had to say. “Iruga is about people having low-budget fun. it’s a protest against people who are ‘all about their paper.’ It’s about simple pleasures, about good clean hilarious fun. It’s also man njoro sharing the wealth he brought from the city with his peoples. Man njoro merely tells the story of how an ocha party is formed, yet in no time descends into chaos but no one gets hurt.” The song is produced by Kevin Provok, and the soon to be released video was shot by Enos Olik. Enos is not only an amazing director, he is also a singer in boy-band Aziza and a songwriter. Love Weche Tek by Dela? That was penned by Enos.
Just to recapitulate, Iruga is a shagz party, the sort that has no hip jerking or twerking as has become the norm in these streets. It’s all about food, fun, fellowship and the usual local tipple. This song if from his album co-opetition. Check out the lead photo for details on that.
