Little Emmy Kosgei Is All Grown Up (Photos)

“Music is the universal language of mankind” this was a quote uttered by one  Henry Wadsworth Longfellow meaning that when it comes to good music, there are no language barriers.

Take for example Belgian singer Stromae who sings in French but has hordes of non-French speaking fans all over the world with sold-out concerts’ to his name. Locally, Emmy Kosgie has won over the hearts of Kenyans with her beautiful songs sung in Kalenjin, it doesn’t matter where you come from, Emmy Kosgei’s much will have you jamming.

Thanks to this, she has become a superstar of sorts and even took a young girl under her wing. Her name Nikita Kering’ who is known to many as the “Little Emmy Kosgei” after she performed alongside Emmy to critical acclaim and rave reviews.

This was in December 4th 2011 where she performed live on TV at the Album Launch of Top Kenyan Gospel Singer, Emmy Kosgei.
Many of us may have met Nikita when she was just but a wee girl, but she is all grown up!
