Love In The Limelight: Papa Shirandula Actor Opens Up About Dating When You Are Famous

Relationships can be hard but they can be harder when you are in the limelight. This is because your relationship is the subject of public interest and there is pressure for those who want the best for you and for those that are rooting for the failure of your relationship.

Today I spoke to one of the celebrities whose relationships is under public scrutiny. His name is Gerald Langiri and you have probably spotted him in productions such as House of Lungula, Papa Shirandula where he plays the role of Mr Araka smart a long lost close friend of Papa Shirandula and he is also the Host of “In the forest”.

Langiri went down on one knee during the premier night of his highly rated production House Of Lungula. He popped the question to one Lynn Jumba and since then his relationship has been a subject of public importance.

Dating in the spotlight can be pretty hard as everyone is looking at you. You also have to be very careful with those people you associate with as some might try to ruin what you have. There is also that pressure of having a huge glamorous wedding because you are a celebrity and people assume that you have the money for a grand wedding. However the good thing about Kenya is that the pressure is relatively lesser as compared to the USA where Kanye and Kim Kardashian’s relationship is basically a Kanye Kim USA affair .My fiancé and I do not let the pressure affect us because the relationship is ours and we know what we want.
