Lover of Football?? Here’s How to Be Part of The Match
KEWASNET: a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit membership organization. The Network envisions ‘A society with access to safe water and sanitation’, whereas the mission is ‘To promote good governance in the water and sanitation sector thereby increasing access to services’.
In commemoration of World Water Day 2015 (WWD 2015), KEWASNET will be using the power of arts to convey strong, powerful messages on the Right To Water and Sanitation. WASH service delivery campaign will be working hand in hand with KEWASNET while refreshing their band and messages to align to WWD’s theme; Right to Sanitation and Water.
In Nairobi, WASH messages will be conveyed through illustrations on large water tanks (to be donated later to needy schools ) and which will be placed in Uhuru Park on Sunday 22nd of March . During this week up ti the date of the soccer event, the tanks will be strategically placed at the doorsteps of “policy makers” to really get their attention.

KEWASNET decide to use soccer because football is very popular in Kenya in a cultural and social phenomena. Soccer will be used as a way to communicate to the public WASH issues in Kenya while raising awareness on the Right to Water and Sanitation.
