Lulu Hassan ,Betty Kyallo and Other Kenyan Celebrities That Have Survived Road Accidents And Have Achieved Success After It. Number 3 Has Had Two! (+Photos)

While some popular Kenyan celebrities such as E-Sir, Wicky Mosh and K-Rupt and most recently Q F.M’s Rhyno lost their lives in accidents, there are those that were fortunate enough to survive their near death experiences. And just Like Kanye West, they have achieved great success after their tragic experiences.

And here they are:

1.Wangechi

Who can forget Wangechi’s dreadful accident last year that claimed her friend’s life? After the tragic incident, Wangechi was hospitalized for a long time, but as soon as she was back on her feet, she has enjoyed a meteoric rise, even performing next to Yasiin Bey last week!

It’s not every day that a young girl shares the same stage with a legend.

2.Nameless

On March 16 2003, music legend E-sir passed away after a tragic accent on his way from Nakuru. While his best friend and musician passed away after the highway catastrophe, Nameless lived to tell the tale.

After surviving his accident, Nameless has become one of the hottest artistes right now with his international peers such as Nigerian Flavor describing him as one of the most gifted musicians in Kenya.

3.Betty Kyallo

A rogue matatu in the CBD almost claimed her life but she survived and was hospitalized for close to two months. But even though she survived, her face was still badly scarred, but by some sort of miracle, her face started healing and all is left is a tiny scar on her neck.

Betty Kyallo proved once again that she had nine lives and that her work on earth was not done, when she had yet another accident along Mombasa road but survived it. Currently, Betty is one of the hottest not forgetting most sought after TV anchors.

4.Jimwatt

About a year ago, Jimwatt was involved in a ghastly road accident and faced the bleak reality of losing mobility in his legs unless he got a costly operation done. Since he comes from a humble background and his career was not soaring, so meeting the cost of this operation proved a formidable task, until Jaguar came in and saved the day, paying for this operation. After the operation and undergoing therapy, Jimwatt can walk again and is back at the studio recording. He has even begun a campaign to help alcoholics, since he was also once an alcoholic, the reason why his career flopped in the first place.

5.Bien-Sauti Sol

What you probably don’t know about Bien since it was not publicized, is that he had an accident after he got hit by a bus; I think it was a Citi Hoppa, losing all or most of his teeth. But he survived the near fatal crash and now he and his band-mates at Sauti Sol are the best acts in Africa and on the road to BET.

6.Linus Kaikai
