Did Lupita take the whole world for a ride? Well, some ‘disgruntled’ thieves opened the Pandora’s Box when they returned the pearl-embellished dress they thought was worth Kes 13 million.

She stole the glamour at Oscars 2015 with a dress that got the whole world talking. Alas! Kumbe it was just the case of ‘Ujaluo’ after all!

We all know our brothers from the lake region are masters of pride. They are so proud than peacocks that they are willing pull out some show-offs that make the whole world tongue-tied. And Lupita Nyong’o is no different.

According to TMZ, the thieves that stole the pearl-embellished dress that was said to be worth Kes 13 million, returned it after they realised it was as fake as a five thousand Kenyan note.

The thieves are said to have returned the dress to the London West Hollywood hotel after they took two pears to a Los Angeles’ garment district where they were told they weren’t real.

The annoyed thieves called America’s leading celebrity gossip blog, TMZ, and reported about the dress’ whereabouts. The thieves notified TMZ because they wanted the world to know the much publicized Lupita’s 6000 pearl-embellished dress was FAKE! Ujaluo nayo!
