 WAPENDWA, The first time I met them was by the introduction of the genius behind the “Extreem Teeniz Gospel Awards” Mulee. They were simply the newest sensation in town as far as gospel music was concerned. The duo is comprised of Meshack Salim, popularly known as Mesh,a 21 year old talented instrumentalist whose prowess at playing the piano is only eclipsed by his uncanny ability to sing and write songs. The other Half of what is known as “Wapendwa” is Penninah Wambui, popularly known as Nina, a pretty, talented songwriter and songstress, who at only 18 has managed to win the hearts of many with her musical talent.

The duo’s chemistry stems from the religious backgrounds that they share, hailing from christian families that have nurtured and tutored them to be quite the people that they are today. A Duo that will make great soulful music for decades to come.

The duo,by coupling their efforts together have managed to write, compose and release a song “Amazing Love” that has been a hit even before their video is released in 2 weeks.
