MCSK Goes Regional…Check Out The Tour

MCSK has been on a countrywide rural tour, well not looking for talent but getting what is owed to talent, present and future.

The tour took them to both the big names in regional radio broadcasting the likes of Radio Sayare, West Fm, Hero Radio etc, to small ones like Radio Maria in Murang’a.  The largest beneficiary of all this is set to be the rural artist.

For some time now the bigger portion of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya Royalties cake has been enjoyed by urban based artists and those with a national appeal. Well ‘mashinani’ artists are about to get their footing and share of goodies in a big way.
