Meet Kenya’s Siblings on Radio

If you listen to both of them on radio for the first time you may not be able to tell apart their voices. Meet Nick Ndeda and his elder brother Jeremy Odhiambo. Both great radio presenters, the two siblings are set to change the face of radio in Kenya.

Nick started his radio career at Homeboyz Radio (HBR) before moving to Hot 96 where he did an evening show right before he left to concentrate on his acting career. He however made a comeback to radio early last year by rejoining Radio Africa’s rock station, X FM. Not much is there to document about Jeremy Odhiambo, so meet his alter ego Saliva Vic. Saliva Vic is one outgoing individual who loves fun and who will tell you what he thinks without mincing his words.

Saliva Vic started his radio career at the now defunct Uptown Radio as a reggea show presenter, a position he held until the radio shut down. He however joined 1 FM where he does sports news and as well works for its sister station; Hits FM. His alter ego, Jeremy Odhiambo is currently sitting in as 1FM’s breakfast show host for Nonini, a position he has effectively fit in.

Back to Nick, he hosts a 3pm to 7pm show titled the Homerun-drive on weekdays and the Saturday morning show from 7am-12pm on 105.5, X FM. Apart from that, Nick is an established actor who has featured in Higher Learning and MTV’s Shuga: Love, Sex and Money. As for Saliva Vic, he’s a huge hip hop fan and even runs a blog that dwells on hip hop news even though its description screams “Music…Alkahol…Women”.
