Meet the Brilliant Photographer Causing Ripples in the Country (Photos)

Professional photography has now become very popular in Kenya with and many popular not forgetting brilliant photographers fighting to rule the roost. Now 30 year old Humphrey Odero has thrown himself in the race and is coming for the crown.

Though he has not gained much attention in the mainstream media, Humphrey has gained recognition not only among his fellow photographers but also among the high-browed in society.

In fact he has been in the game for close to seven years and has received awards from eyeseeafrica and Photographers Association of Kenya awards. In 2015, he was the runner up in the ‘Daily’ Category and third place in the ‘News’ Category).

He has also been in touch with other artists from different fields of art and came up with an exhibition at the National Museum of Kenya with some of his work making it to the Addisfoto fest in 2014.

The Kisumu born photographer who boasts of attaining a Bachelor’s degree on a double major on Psychology and Sociology says that he draws inspiration from the daily lives of people living around him and what goes on with.
