Meet the Pretty 17 Year Who Is Taking Over the Music Industry
17 year old soulful Kenyan-French artiste, Carine has released her first debut single Barre Toi.
Barre Toi is French which translates to Go Away is a pop ballad that is upbeat and catchy.
“Barre Toi is about the end of a relationship and picking up the pieces living your life without the extra baggage that comes with people who do not appreciate you, and also partly inspired by a personal experience” says Carine.
Carine started writing and performing in school while she was 15years old. “
Carine’s influences are Vanessa Mdee, Stromae, Justin Beiber, Phy, Blinky Bill and Karun.
The song was produced by #Timwork and the video was directed by Moses Osidiana of Brainworks.
