Mercy Myra’s HUGE Risk Pays Off

Mercy Myra, the sexy Jaluo musician from Nyanza province, made a massive bet with her latest single. She went for the Latin American “Tango” genre.

 The song I’m talking about is “African Tango,” the most recent release from Mrs. Attitude. This was the very first tango song by a Kenyan artist, and there is a well-known business saying for ventures like this:

“Pioneers get slaughtered, while settlers prosper.” – Daymon John

The meaning of this saying is that the people who are first to try something out usually get a poor response from the market, while those who try afterwards, will learn from the mistakes first made, refine the idea and profit off of it.

This didn’t apply in Mercy Myra’s case. Despite being the first mainstream Kenyan tango artist, her song, “African Tango” has done surprisingly well. It is currently the hottest Kenyan video on YouTube, amassing 23, 000 views in just two weeks! Check it out for yourself:
