Meru County Blows 7.8 Million Kshs On Curtains, Sparking An Online Onslaught By Outraged Kenyans
Disregard for how hard Kenyans work to eke a living and pay taxes is often demonstrated by just how carelessly politicians spend our money.
If MCA’s are not spending too much time abroad, a county government is buying 10 wheelbarrows for 1 Million shillings, blowing close to 1.5 Million on a SINGLE street light or 700, 000 for serviettes.
But that is not all Meru County has just spent 7.8 Million on curtains…CURTAINS…PAZIA! This is in a country where patients need medicine and medical practitioners more than the privacy curtains provide.
Honestly if these county governments want to rob us blind, they should try and be smart about it….not blowing it on silly things like curtains, wheelbarrows and serviettes.
And as expected, Kenyans immediately swooped in after this revelation and their clap back game was, of course, unstoppable
