Mike Sonko’s Two Cents After Kathy Kiuna Allegedly Banned Poor People From Her Church!

“This is not a place for poor people. If you can’t tithe, find another church, we don’t entertain poverty. There are many churches in Nairobi which accommodate poor people but JCC is not one of them.”She told worshipers who cheered her on shouting, Preach it Mum….” These are words that Kathy Kiuna is alleged to have uttered during a sermon at her church in Parklands. 

 The Nairobi senator has given his two cent on the same:

“Watu wangu naskia mumefukuzwa Church zenu due to poverty don’t worry tuko pamoja.Many Christian believers who invest years in their lives in what they do will one day stand before the Lord and realize they were building the house,not the Lord but sinking sand. Before we act,we must ask why?Why are we doing what we are doing?Has God called us to this task?Or is the real motive purely financial or otherwise or control…”

Attempt to reach the Kiuna’s for comments have borne no fruits.
