‘ Mimi Ndio King’ King Kaka Claims His Throne With New Mix Tape
King Kaka has released his 7th Mix tape, It’s The King. The mix tape was inspired by his beginnings in the music industry and where he grew up. “I was inspired by my background and where i grew up. It is basically me reflecting early days in music,” says King Kaka.
The mix tape features collaborations from Navio- Uganda, Jay Moe-Tanzania, Kaki of Adawnage Band, Provoke, 3HM , Yviona, Majero and Shammah.
” Working with different artistes and producers on this mixtape was easy considering it was a surprise and guys got on board rather quickly. For which i am thankful,” says King Kaka.
The 15 track mix tape features poetry, hard hip hop and the storytelling that his fans know him well for.
“One track that i feel stands out is called Uko Wapi featuring Rabbit. It is basically King Kaka calling Rabbit and they have a conversation about their plans. I love all the tracks on the mix tape,” says King Kaka.
The songs mix tape have been produced by Jack on the Beat, Ricco Beatz, Kanyeria, Timwork, DJ JR, Kenring and Sniper. It was recorded at Shaash Records.
